On 4th March 2024, over 150 University Society Leaders from across the country will gather in London for a unique event hosted by Windō and Bloomberg.
The young leaders will join Bloomberg moderators, ESG professionals and startup founders to delve into Gen Z’s expectations from potential employers regarding their impact on the planet and its people, with a goal to better connect values aligned talent and employers.
What is Preside?
On 4th March 2024, over 150 University Society Leaders from across the country will gather in London for a unique event hosted by Windō and Bloomberg.
The young leaders, Bloomberg moderators and ESG professionals will delve into Gen Z’s expectations from potential employers regarding their impact on the planet and its people, with a goal to better connect values aligned talent and employers.
Who is Attending?
There are over 180 University Society Presidents and Leaders confirmed to attend Windō, from 38 Universities and Business Schools, spanning 28 cities across the UK (and even a few from Paris). The Young Leaders that are attending preside over societies spanning a number of professional industries including finance, law and consultancy as well as having a number with a particular focus on sustainability, diversity and inclusion.
Also attending are the founders of Windō and a number of Bloomberg’s young talent and ESG team who will share their insights on leading sustainability communications and initiatives.

The Keynotes
Windō & Bloomberg
The Windō team will uncover a startling gap between what companies share on their website about sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and what the future generation is looking for when scouting potential employers.
Additionally, the Windō keynote unveils 14 Leading Practices for effectively communicating a company’s sustainability story and progress.
The Bloomberg keynote will be from Nadia Humphreys who manages the global Sustainable Finance Data Solutions team at Bloomberg LP and is focused on transforming how financial firms consume and use high quality ESG data for investment strategies. Nadia is a keen advocate for Women in FinTech and sat on Bloomberg’s EMEA Diversity Council. She is an ICMA mentor and coach under the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses initiative.
The People Panel

The People Panel, moderated by Matthew Fell, Bloomberg’s D&I Chief of Staff, will take a look at what DEI means to each panellist. They’ll explore what young talent expect from organisations and what more they would like to see. They’ll discuss the importance of transparency beyond workforce data, delving into the mistakes and challenges that employers might be facing in their DEI initiatives.
The Planet Panel

The Planet Panel, moderated by a member of the Bloomberg team, will take a look at effective sustainability initiatives being driven on campus. They’ll explore what young talent expect from companies when it comes to protecting the planet, and what more they would like to see. They’ll discuss the importance of transparency beyond emissions and renewable energy data, delving into trust, recognition and a more wholesome approach to environmental reporting.
