Our Gen Z Advisors

Appointed in April 2024

The Future is Bright

When we conceptualised Windo, we set out to build an Advisory Board, and not the typical setup that you might expect of experienced individuals that have been in their space for decades. We know the importance of this; our Founding Team have an average 22 years in the world of startups, data, sustainability and DEI.

We wanted our Advisory Board to be made up of the very people that we were building Windo for; Young Talent. From inception they have been instrumental in the direction, look, feel and even content of our platform, tools, reports and technology. We remain in contact with our earliest supporters and are delighted today to be able to announce our latest appointments in alphabetical order.

Together, we were able to narrow down his choices to two options—one of which he had already considered, and the other sparked new interest. It’s clear that Windo’s platform is making a meaningful impact on decision-making processes.

I am Sam, a penultimate year Geography student at the University of Oxford. My passion for sustainability was a key reason for deciding to read Geography and is an area I have sought to specialise in as I progress through my degree. This year, I established, with a group of likeminded friends, the Regent’s Park College ESG society. Siddharth Kataria, President of the LSESU Economics Society
Innovation Advisor
Hi! My name is Sid, I’m an undergrad at the LSE, and I grew up across London and New Delhi. I was the President of the LSE Economics Society, now serving as its Chairman, where my team and I ran the largest academic society at the LSE, and the largest Economics society in the world. We had the privilege of hosting multiple Nobel Prize winners, ranging from Amartya Sen to Christopher Pissarides, and served LSE’s wide ranging economics student population. Apart from that, I love politics and debating, and enjoy the outdoors. Living in Switzerland alongside London for the last 3 years has made me an amateur snowboarder, but (fortunately) it’s difficult to find a place to show off my skills in the UK.
Why I was drawn to Windō…
I’ve constantly been surrounded by a variety of cultures and I strongly believe that the positive externalities of a more inclusive and diverse society can accelerate positive change and productivity. None of us is as strong all of us, and I believe while talent is equally distributed, opportunity is not. Windo helps close these information gaps, and I strongly believe in its core values.

Vaios Deroukakis, President of the University of Reading UOR Consulting Society
Communications Advisor

Hey everyone! I’m Vaios Deroukakis, and I’m currently diving into the exciting world of Accounting & Finance at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. Coming from a background where I’ve grown up with two languages, I’ve learned so much more than just vocabulary – it’s taught me how to connect with people on a deeper level and adapt to different situations with ease.

My journey so far has been a mix of learning, growing, and jumping into new experiences headfirst. At Icon plc, I got to get experience in financial analysis and project oversight, all while learning the ropes of the industry. Then, at Kaiku and BDO, I found myself in many different roles – from crunching numbers to getting creative with marketing strategies.

Leading the Consulting Society at Reading University has been a real highlight for me. It’s given me the chance to channel my inner entrepreneur and hone my leadership skills while making a positive impact on campus.

With a heart full of enthusiasm and a genuine ‘let’s make it happen!’ attitude, I’m ready to tackle whatever challenges come my way. Let’s make magic together!

Why I was drawn to Windō…

I’m overjoyed to be part of Windō, a team that prioritizes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
